Maynooth University seeks Placement Tutors

The Education Department at Maynooth University is currently seeking applications from maynooth uni
experienced educational tutors on the Post-Primary Professional Master of Education (PME) programme and on undergraduate Science & Mathematics education courses.
The role is to support and mentor student teachers and evaluate their teaching practice.

New Minister for Education & Skills

Richard Bruton, TD, has been appointed Minister for Education & Skills.richard bruton

A TD since 1982, he currently represents the Dublin Bay North Constituency.

Mr. Bruton was Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation from 2011 to 2016 and
Minister for Enterprise & Employment from 1994 to 1997 . He was an economist with the ESRI before entering politics.
We wish him well in his new appointment.
