Anti-Bullying Campaign offers FREE Tools for TeachersAnti-Bullying materials and resources are available free of charge to teachers in second-level schools Log onto www.antibullyingcampaign.ie. for more information
Principals who are planning inservice days for the coming school year may be interested in the following offer from Seán Fallon, a retired teacher, who is heavily involved in the anti-bullying campaign: "Last September I retired from secondary teaching after 34 years service. One of my reasons for retiring was to further develop this Anti-Bullying Campaign, to spread the word about it among schools and to assist Principals and teachers in implementing it in their schools. From September 1st 2010 I will be in a position to visit schools during staff-days or staff-half-days to talk to staff for about one hour about our campaign and the website resources we offer and to show teachers how to implement our Anti-Bullying Campaign in schools. Because this entire campaign is free and not-for-profit I will not charge a fee for this (after all it is what I want to do) and since I am living in Dublin I will accept travelling expenses as follows:
Within Dublin City or county: €15 or including a toll two ways €20
Within Leinster : €35 or including a toll two ways €40
The rest of Ireland €55.00 or including a Toll two ways €60.00. If two schools in a a town in, say Killarney want to collaborate and share this talk they can split the travelling expenses between them reducing the cost by half each. Thank you Yours sincerely, Seán Fallon Telephone: 01 4513314 Mobile: 086 8496460
