Creative Engagement Exhibition goes to the National Indoor Sports Arena
The National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD) today launched its seventh annual Creative Engagement Exhibition in the National Indoor Sports Arena, Abbottstown, Dublin.
The Creative Engagement Exhibition is an arts in education programme that sees schools work with outside artists to develop innovative projects incorporating dance, film, sculpture, music and visual art. Over 100 schools are participating in this year’s programme.
The Creative Engagement programme is a collaboration between the Department of Education and Skills and the Department of Culture Heritage and the Gaeltacht. It also receives funding from the Heritage Council. Senator Marie Louise O’Donnell, a member of the Oireachtas Joint Committee for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, formally launched this year’s exhibition.
